MEETING RECAP

What a day; perfect temp and skies and a spirit of helpfulness and fun.  Wish work was this good?  Oh yes.

The day started with the Presidents, Scott & Mary Schemenaur setting up the Pavillion for the many NIPC members who were going to enjoy the next 5 hours together.  It was very nice to see the upperclass parents answering the questions of the Doolie parents.  We talked about the Parents Weekend arrangements and wishing that we were leaving this week, not in two.

The turnout was great and we wish that many more could have joined us, but that cannot always be, so here are pics to enjoy.  See you at the next meeting at Champ's in Lombard at the USAFA vs. Army football game.

This is the "Where in the World" poster that Scott & Mary Schemenaur put together showing a pic of the cadet during one of their summer sessions.  Very cool.  It is amazing seeing where our Cadets were this summer.

This is Gerry Phillips.  While the NIPC members were talking with each other, Gerry was at the grill preparing bratwurst and hamburgers.  He took great care in making sure each was done "just right" and they were.  Thank you Gerry, an example of "Service before Self".

Love this picture.  Shades of #23, Michael Jordan, driving to the hoop for a dunk.  Jerry's  results are just as good but more satisfying !!
