I chose the Academy because I wanted to
serve in the Air Force and I wanted to fly. At the time, I felt the
Academy would be the best place to accomplish both of these goals.
Best advice given to you upon entering
the Academy: Learn and master time management.
Your advice to new cadets entering the
Academy: Take advantage of the many academic, athletic, social, and
religious opportunities available. Remember to keep your sense of humor,
the reason why you are there, and your faith.
Your most memorable experience while at
the Academy: AM490, jumping out of a plane alone the first time.
